Dr. Fitzpatrick is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in pediatrics and her master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University. Her Bachelor of Science is in exercise science from Elon University. A native of Philadelphia, her certification is in primary care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). She is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). In 2020, Dr. Fitzpatrick became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in order to help more mothers and newborns with breastfeeding and the transition home after leaving the hospital.
Dr. Fitzpatrick came to the New Orleans area in 2022 for her husband’s residency at Ochsner. She lives in Metairie with her husband and two dogs, Lucy and Penny. They enjoy exploring the Greater New Orleans area and trying new restaurants. She loves to read and workout in her spare time.
