Meet Your Infectious Disease Providers
Molly McCoy, DO, MPH
Dr. McCoy is a board-certified internal medicine physician with specialized training in infectious diseases. She completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she provided inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care, including HIV primary care and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy. Dr. McCoy also brings extensive experience in primary care, hospital medicine, public health and clinical research, with a commitment to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients.

Dawn Kaiser, NP
Nurse Kaiser comes from the high desert of Central Oregon. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in family nurse practitioner from Columbia University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University, and her Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Portland State University. Nurse Kaiser is a member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Association of Providers of AIDS Care.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Services at DePaul
HIV support is an important part of the care we provide at DePaul. Through Ryan White HIV/AIDS services, our multidisciplinary team provides medical care, support services and resources to help people living with HIV access and remain connected to the care they need.

Primary Care for People Living with HIV
Our team provides comprehensive primary and preventive care for people living with HIV, including:

Rapid-entry appointments for people with a new HIV diagnosis

Routine and HIV-specific immunizations

Essential primary and secondary prevention screenings, including screenings for diabetes and heart disease

Sexual health services
Support Services for People Living with HIV
We understand that managing HIV involves more than medical treatment. DePaul connects eligible patients with services and resources that can help remove barriers to receiving care.

Primary medical care coverage for eligible uninsured patients

Insurance navigation and enrollment
Mobile Sexual Health and General Wellness Services
DePaul and Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA) are partnering to provide mobile, sexual health and general wellness screenings. Services provided by this initiative include free STI and HIV testing, blood pressure and glucose screenings. The services are free, available to the public and provided at community outreach events. The initiative is supported by Ryan White Services and Resources, a division of the New Orleans Health Department, which provides primary medical care and essential support services for people living with HIV.
