Dontrell Turner

Dr. Turner is a Behavioral Health Specialist who was born in New Orleans. A resident of the Westbank, Dr. Turner holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Southern University at New Orleans and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University. Dr. Turner has also completed a year at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She has a Certificate in gerontology from Tulane University, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor in the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Dr. Turner has been the recipient of DCHC associate star awards and various associate recognitions. She has facilitated Night Out Against Crime events, community engagement events and is a past Sunday School and bible study teacher. Dr. Turner also has a partner and is the mother of two children, Matrel and Mat II. She enjoys health and fitness, cultural events, travel, and learning new things.
