The Hotel Dieu Legacy Society honors a special group of donors who, through their legacy, support Ascension DePaul New Orleans' efforts to provide health care centered on service to the poor, reverence, integrity, wisdom, creativity and dedication to improving the overall health care status of the community. Society membership is extended to individuals who include Ascension DePaul New Orleans in their estate plans. The highlight of membership is an invitation to an annual luncheon with the Chairman of the Board of Ascension DePaul New Orleans to hear about the latest developments and their role in supporting the legacy of the organization. We receive many inkind gifts throughout the year. These gifts support a variety of our outreach programs and special events like our health fairs, Christmas toys and book collections, food and snacks for our food pantry program, bus passes for access to care program, etc...Social determinates are some of the leading causes of health care disparities in our community.
