Dr. Vally provides patients with routine annual eye visits along with detecting, managing and treating astigmatism, eye infections, diabetic eye disease, eye injuries and more.
She received her Optometry Degree from SUNY College of Optometry and pursued an ocular disease residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine where she stayed as a Clinical Assistant Professor. As a faculty member, Dr. Vally worked to strengthen the urgent care clinic and student doctor program while pursuing her own interests in neuro-ophthalmology. Her passion for public service brought her to Louisiana where she worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and nursing homes throughout many rural and hard to reach parishes.
“Dr. Vally’s previous roles in ophthalmology are a testament to her commitment to ensuring that all people receive excellent health care,” said DCHC’s President and CEO Michael G. Griffin, MSPH, D.Sc., FACHE. “We’re excited to add another health care professional to our team whose values align with DCHC’s Mission and puts the well being of the community first.”
