New Orleans - DePaul Community Health Centers’ (DCHC) Vice President of Mission Integration, Matthew Picard, recently graduated from the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Jefferson program. Over the past nine months, Matthew joined more than 40 emerging leaders from across the parish to explore the most pressing issues facing the community—including, education, health care, economic development, state legislation and more. Through immersive, hands-on workshops, the graduates laid the groundwork for creating an impact in the community while building meaningful relationships.
Matthew was also selected by his peers to serve as graduation speaker to further inspire the group and highlight the take-aways of the program.
“We are very proud of Matthew for excelling in the Leadership Jefferson program,” said Dr. Michael G. Griffin, MSPH, DSc, FACHE, the President and CEO of DePaul Community Health Centers. “I’m confident he will utilize the skills and relationships he gained in the program to help DCHC continue to further its Mission of meeting patients where they are and helping them have access to compassionate, affordable health care.”
