2025 Beyond the Bedside: Nursing Professional Development nominee
New Orleans - DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) is thrilled to announce its Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Residency Program Director, Tanya Theriault, MSN, FNP-BC, has been nominated for the 2025 Beyond the Bedside: Nursing Professional Development Award by the New Orleans District Nurses Association (NODNA). Tanya has been nominated for her work in developing and implementing DCHC’s FNP Residency Program and other significant contributions she has made to the nursing profession.
“This nomination is a testament to Tanya’s outstanding leadership, and commitment to teaching and supporting newly graduated nurse practitioners,” said Dr. Michael G. Griffin, DCHC’s President and CEO. “DCHC’s Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program is thriving and creating a space for newly graduated professionals to work closely with the community, while fine tuning and enhancing the skills they learned in school. We’re grateful to Tanya for her time and efforts in creating this program and very proud that she is being recognized for her hard work.”
