Elizabeth "Clancey" Powell is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in hospice, palliative care, and family medicine, bringing a compassionate, holistic approach to patient care. Born and raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, Clancey has spent much of her career serving individuals and families across the Northshore and greater New Orleans area.
Clancey earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Loyola University of New Orleans. She also holds an Advanced Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care, reflecting her deep commitment to caring for patients across all stages of life.
With more than a decade of clinical and leadership experience, including roles as a Registered Nurse, Hospice Case Manager, Director of Nursing, Executive Director, and Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth brings a comprehensive understanding of both acute and chronic health needs.
Clancey is especially passionate about caring for entire families and supporting patients through prevention, education, and compassionate guidance. Her experience in hospice and palliative care has shaped her belief that quality of life, early intervention, and personalized care are essential to long-term health and well-being.
Outside of work, Clancey enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is the proud mother of two sons, ages 22 and 17, and remains actively involved in community organizations and professional associations.
