Carolina Urbizo
MD
Dr. Urbizo is a native of Tegucigalpa, Honduras who earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Loyola University New Orleans. She went on to complete her medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at LSU Health Sciences Center where she was also the Chief Resident.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Urbizo has volunteered at Amor Viviente Church and Luke's House Health Community Clinic. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Association.
