Kelsey earned her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Kelsey has diverse clinical experience in neurosurgery, wound care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and sleep medicine. As a sleep medicine nurse practitioner, Kelsey evaluated patients with sleep disorders, ordered and reviewed diagnostic sleep studies, and managed treatment plans, including CPAP and APAP therapy for patients with sleep apnea.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Kelsey spent nearly seven years as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Children's Hospital, New Orleans, where she served on the trauma team, rapid response team, and as both a charge nurse and preceptor. Her dedication to exceptional patient care earned her recognition as one of Louisiana's Great 100 Nurses in 2023 and the Emergency Nurses Association's Patient Champion Award in 2020.
With experience caring for patients of all ages, across multiple specialties, Kelsey is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while helping individuals achieve better overall health. Kelsey believes in partnering with her patients to help them better understand their health, make informed decisions, and achieve lasting wellness through personalized, comprehensive care.
